Kasey Kahne to return to full-time status in High Limit Racing in 2025
For the second year in a row, Kasey Kahne is returning to the High Limit Racing series for a full-time season. The 2025 season is going to be a major one for the series co-owned by NASCAR star Kyle Larson.
Of course, Kasey Kahne is no stranger to NASCAR fans. The 18-time winner in the Cup Series was a popular driver during his time. While we haven’t seen him in a Cup car since 2018, we still have him on dirt.
Last season, Kahne was 14th overall in the points standings. There are so many talented races on dirt right now, that the competition is fierce. He’s back for more in 2025. Fans can watch High Limit Racing exclusively on FloRacing.
While Kasey Kahne didn’t finish high up in the standings, he did win the championship as a team owner. Brad Sweet won the championship in 2024 for KKR. The two have a relationship that dates back almost two decades.
Eric Prutzman will be the crew chief for Kahne. Prutzman has won six national sprint car championships with Sweet. That is five World of Outlaws titles from 2019-2023 and the 2024 High Limit title.
Kyle Larson and Brad Sweet are trying to change dirt racing with High Limit. They want bigger payouts, better safety, and more security for race teams. There are also plans to crossover with NASCAR as well.

Kasey Kahne racing in Las Vegas during NASCAR weekend
The High Limit Racing series and NASCAR will both be in Las Vegas the week of March 16th. It will be the season opener for High Limit and Kasey Kahne. They will race at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Meanwhile, NASCAR will be on the big oval.
The folks behind High Limit want to grow sprint car racing. With a NASCAR star like Larson, they have a chance to introduce fans on both sides to another form of motorsports. Dirt racing is growing and becoming a real pathway to the Cup Series again.
It isn’t all about making it to stock cars, either. The health of sprint car dirt racing is perhaps at an all-time high. Having a rival to the World of Outlaws has already changed things in the racing scene in regard to money and safety.
Kasey Kahne will be in Las Vegas racing on the dirt track the same weekend NASCAR is in town. Sounds like a good excuse for NASCAR fans to check out High Limit Racing to me.
