In the 2025 CARS Tour season, Keelan and Kevin Harvick are going to be a formidable father-son duo in the Pro Late Model division. The NASCAR legend and his son are embarking on a new adventure together.

Kevin Harvick is working closely on his son’s development as a race car driver. Now that he is ready for full-bodied stock cars, the lessons can really begin. Keelan is going to have a fun and busy schedule ahead of him this year.

For those who remember baby Keelan celebrating with Kevin after the 2014 championship, you are allowed to feel very old now. That same little boy is racing stock cars now. And he’s pretty dang good at it.

During Media Day for the CARS Tour, Keelan went through the whole thing. He also spoke to the media about his upcoming season.

“[My dad] is really big on being smooth and trying to be consistent,” the 12 year old driver said, via NASCAR.com. “That’s really helped me through my career. I would love to win a lot, but this is brand new competition, and it’s going to be really hard to adapt.

“If I can consistently get top-five or top-10 finishes, that would be a really good takeaway for me.”

Well, it wasn’t long ago that 12 year old Tristan McKee was winning a Pro Late Model race in the CARS Tour. So, it isn’t unthinkable that the preteen Harvick could end up in Victory Lane as well.

There will be a lot of people looking forward to seeing Keelan and Kevin Harvick on track.

Keelan, Kevin Harvick will race against each other

Not only are Keelan and Kevin Harvick going to share a ride, they will go up against one another at times this year. Kevin talked about the future plans he has or Keelan at the end of 2024 at Florence Motor Speedway.

With his success in karts, in America and Europe, his wins in a Legend car – this is the next step. Keelan is progressing quickly, but for good reason. He isn’t just the son of a NASCAR champion, he has his own talents.

As for Kevin Harvick, it’s going to be fun to see him race Pro Late Models and other cars this year. He will likely have to wait until the FOX races for the NASCAR season are over, but he has an extensive schedule for the summer and fall.

Keelan and Kevin Harvick are going to be a lot of fun to watch this year. Seeing the father and son come together for this CARS Tour season will be very special.
