Kenny Pickett shares photos from honeymoon in Puerto Rico
Kenny Pickett and Amy, his new wife, got married in breezy summer wedding in New Jersey last month. And now, the newlyweds are finishing off their honeymoon in Puerto Rico.
Fortunately for Steelers fans, Pickett likes to share snaps of his life events. It’s why the couple posted a honeymoon gallery on social media. The caption from Pickett: “Honeymoon with the Mrs. ❤️” Amy quickly replied, calling her new husband the “love of my life.”

The two love to gush over each other on social media. But these two New Jersey natives have been together for awhile. He played quarterback for the Pitt Panthers, while she stayed closer to home and competed for the Princeton soccer team. They met through sports more than a decade ago — both trained at the same gym. But they didn’t start dating until college.
Kenny Pickett made two life-changing decisions after his junior season at Pitt. He declared for the NFL Draft. And he asked Amy to marry him.
“Got tired of calling you my girlfriend,” Pickett posted on Instagram. “Here’s to a lifetime with the person I cherish more than anything in the world. You make me a better person and I could not imagine life without you. I love you more forever and always!!”

The two married, June 24, at Pleasantdale Chateau in New Jersey. Kent Chevalier, the Steelers chaplain, officiated the ceremony attended by 275 guests. And during the reception, guests could drink a specialty cocktail next to a Steelers ice sculpture.
Kenny and Amy Pickett threw a huge reception and then a big after party. The food stations included one devoted to pasta, one with only lobsters and another for rib-eye carving. And if you didn’t like those choices there also was sushi and a raw bar. The after party featured three rounds of passed desserts. Plus, there were food trucks with pizza, burgers and tacos.
The Picketts need to get back to reality by the end of the month. That’s because Kenny Pickett needs to report to Steelers training camp, July 26. The team heads back to St. Vincent’s College in Latrobe, Penn for the 56th time. The first preseason game is Aug. 11 against the Bucs.
