Kenny Wallace heard all of the complaints coming out of Sunday’s race at Bristol, a race which generally lacked excitement. Monday, he took aim at NASCAR fans for the constant “bitching and moaning.”

“Y’all need to take a massive f***ing break from bitching and moaning about a NASCAR race. Ain’t nobody worried about that bullsh*t,” Wallace wrote on X. “The f***ing place fits 155,000 people. You dumbasses never stop.”

NASCAR fans upset with on-track product at Bristol

Sunday’s race was not well-received from most fans and even drivers. 79.9% of fans who voted in Jeff Gluck‘s good race poll voted no. That’s based on nearly 35,000 votes. Denny Hamlin flat-out said the race wasn’t good.

Sunday’s race saw the first 200 plus lap run in the stage racing era and the first since Dover in September 2016, per Stephen Stumpf of Frontstretch. Passing was hard to come by. Tire wear was non-existent. Kyle Larson led 411-of-500 laps and cruised to the checkered flag.

Now, there are questions about the Next Gen car’s ability to produce quality racing on short tracks such as Bristol. But the “bitching and moaning” went overboard for Wallace, he further explained on “Coffee with Kenny.”

“Yesterday evening, I mother fu*ked some people because I just got tired of all the bitching and moaning,” Wallace said Tuesday. “You know what the response was? ‘When we quit complaining, that means we don’t care anymore.’ Ooh [laughs]. … I guess the more y’all complain, the more you like the sport? Is that where we’re going with this? ‘I bitch and moan all the time because I love the sport so much.’

“There could be something to that. Maybe y’all might win me over with your bitching and moaning 24/7. It never ends. My God, my ears hurt.”
