Kevin Harvick circles NASCAR Playoff drivers in trouble ahead of Charlotte ROVAL
The NASCAR drivers are preparing for the Charlotte ROVAL, and Kevin Harvick is predicting which playoff drivers are in danger of elimination. On Kevin Harvick’s Happy Hour, Harvick shared his thoughts on whether the four drivers below the playoff cut line (Joey Logano, Daniel Suárez, Austin Cindric and Chase Briscoe) can have a big Sunday and advance to the Round of 8.
“The hardest part about those, the gaps 13 points and I think the hardest part for Joey Logano looking just on the other side of the fence is it’s Chase Elliott and Tyler Reddick,” Harvick said. “Typically in the past, those two guys are going to be pretty good at the road courses. …Joey has done a good job, Suárez has done a good job, Austin Cindric… They all had their moments at road courses. But that whole group, everybody up there is just going to be decent at what they do. It’s going to take somebody making a mistake or somebody completely missing the setup.
Harvick went on to say that Reddick and Elliott, the two drivers that are seventh and eighth in the playoff standings, respectively, are expected to run well at a road course like the Charlotte ROVAL. However, Reddick hasn’t been as explosive since his team (23XI Racing) filed a lawsuit against NASCAR.
Kevin Harvick praises Christopher Bell ahead of Charlotte ROVAL
The top eight playoff drivers are William Bryon, Christopher Bell, Kyle Larson, Denny Hamlin, Alex Bowman, Ryan Blaney, Reddick and Elliott. Harvick believes the top eight will advance to the next round of the playoffs unless something catastrophic happens.

Harvick added that Byron, Bell and Larson don’t have to do much in the upcoming race since they have a good lead when it comes to points. The NASCAR Hall of Fame also praised Bell for what he’s done in the playoffs.
“This guy gets skipped over all the time in the things that we talk about,” Harvick said. “Here we are, he’s (plus) 57, he’s going to go to the next round. But you look back at that wreck last week, did you see him get spit out of the middle of that wreck? He was the only car that came out of the pile of cars straight. …Bell has been good there.”
