Kevin Harvick drops harsh prediction on Brad Keselowski

Brad Keselowski has had some excellent results on the NASCAR Cup Series circuit over the years, but he’s looking to rekindle his career a bit after some lackluster finishes in recent years.
After failing to win a race in 2022 and 2023, Keselowski finally won again at Darlington in 2024.
Still, it wasn’t enough to convince one NASCAR insider that Keselowski’s best days remain in front of him. In fact, Kevin Harvick had another take entirely.
“I don’t think we ever see another championship out of Keselowski,” Harvick said on the Kevin Harvick’s Happy Hour podcast.
Harvick got there by way of discussing Brad Keselowski’s career recently. Some of it is the added pressure of having more roles than just driving.
“I think one of the big question marks that I have, is Brad Keselowski ever going to get back to what he was at Penske?” Harvick said. “And I think he’s done a great job at RFK. But as the driver I think he’s going to continue to make an impact at RFK with structure, organization, racing common sense and all the things that come with that.

“But I just, you know, we’ve seen flashes of brilliance out of that car over the past few years. And now you’ve got a crew chief change. And they added another car. I think Chris Buescher has outperformed him over the last couple years for sure.”
Harvick called Buescher “one of the most underrated guys in the sport.” At one point in his career, Brad Keselowski was one of the most feared drivers on the track.
He hasn’t been that of late.
“Can Brad Keselowski get back to that consistency that he had at Penske?” Harvick said. “And can he do that as driver and owner? I haven’t seen it yet. I think that they have the speed on occasion to go out and win some races, but it comes in small pockets. And it’s not been where it needs to be to be back in championship mode.”
