The NASCAR Cup Series will head to Sin City this weekend, as Las Vegas Motor Speedway will take center stage, hosting the Pennzoil 400. Ahead of the race, Kevin Harvick and his Harvick’s Happy Hour crew are locking in their predictions.

Last season, Kyle Larson rose above and won the first trip to Las Vegas, but it was Joey Logano who shocked the world and advanced to the Championship 4 with his win in the playoffs at the track. Both drivers are still looking for their first win in 2025, while Christopher Bell will be going for No. 4 in a row at a track he excels at, as well.

Evidently, Harvick is a believer in the No. 20 team to continue their hot streak: “I’m riding my horse. I’m going to ride him right through Vegas too,” Harvick proclaimed, revealing he’s sticking with Bell. “Can’t beat old Mo. Momentum is key.”

Alas, Bell etched his name into NASCAR history at Phoenix Raceway, winning his third consecutive race, becoming the first driver since the aforementioned Larson in 2021 to do so. He’s the class of the field at the moment, on a mission to win his first championship of his career Cup Series career in 2025.

With Las Vegas on the docket, Bell could certainly win a fourth race in a row. He’s started on the pole three times in Sin City, and he’s finished as the runner-up twice However, Bell’s never been to Victory Lane at the track, at least not yet. Perhaps that’ll change this time around. Harvick believes so.

Meanwhile, Kaitlyn Vincie thinks the defending winner of the spring race will put an end to Bell’s dominance: “I’m going Larson,” she stated. “First one of the year, by the way. Kyle Larson’s won two of the last three races there. I’m picking Larson for the first time this season.”

While Larson’s had an uneven start to the 2025 season, last weekend’s trip to Phoenix ended up being a solid afternoon for the No. 5 team. He battled throughout the day, and he ended up with a chance at the win when the checkered flag waved. He settled for third, but Larson will take a podium finish.

The good news for Larson is Las Vegas is one of his best tracks. He’s won in Sin City three times, including two of the Cup Series’ last three trips to the venue. Larson has specifically excelled at the spring date in his career, so Vincie’s pick of the Hendrick Motorsports star is a savvy one.

Finally, Mamba Smith was thinking of going with Bell like Harvick, but he’s rocking with a former champion instead: “I was going to pick Bell, because I really thought that Kevin would be like, ‘Nah, there’s no way. He can’t do it again.’ It defeats the purpose, because I want to beat you, and I am, because I’m going with Ryan Blaney,” Smith explained. “It’s early on in the season. Typically I wouldn’t pick RC and Team Penske until like, the Coke 600. But it’s Vegas. At Vegas, they always show up.”

Blaney’s an interesting pick. He’ll look to rebound in Las Vegas, after blowing his engine late in last weekend’s race at Phoenix, which led to a P28 finish. He’s never won at the track in 17 tries, but he’s come close, including a P3 finish last season in Sin City.

All told, it should be a fascinating race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday for the NASCAR Cup Series. We’ll see if Kevin Harvick and his Harvick’s Happy Hour crew have any luck with their picks, but they’re certainly riding with some major contenders.
