Kevin Harvick teases major racing announcement ahead of Enjoy Illinois 300
Despite being retired from the NASCAR Cup Series, Kevin Harvick isn’t done with his racing career completely and he has news coming. The Closer hasn’t completely closed the door on racing.
Before the Enjoy Illinois 300, Kevin Harvick teased a new project coming up. Fans of his are going to be very interested in it, especially when you hear the partner that he’s working with.
Harvick teased a new project coming up with Anheuser Busch. It is going to be a fun time by the sound of it.
“I had a 13-year relationship with Anheuser Busch, we’re going to continue that,” Harvick explained. “We’ve got some exciting news on the podcast this week. It’s going to be some fun racing stuff. We’re going to announce that on Tuesday on the podcast, so that will be fun.”
Kevin Harvick spent the best years of his career with Busch as a sponsor. It is a partnership that has apparently outlasted even the existence of Stewart-Haas Racing.
Don’t expect this to be Cup Series related. But it could very well have something to do with Harvick and his Late Model Stock or Super Late Model teams. Harvick fields cars in the CARS Tour as well as being a series co-owner.
Could Anheuser Busch get involved with Kevin Harvick Inc? Because that is something that I would love to see. Having a major brand involved in grassroots racing like that can only be a good thing.

Kevin Harvick won’t race until the FOX portion of the NASCAR schedule is over. But that is right around the corner now. He has expressed interest in the Late Model stuff. Could it be more than that though?
Clint Bowyer returns to Truck Series, why not Kevin Harvick?
We know that Clint Bowyer is hopping into the Spire Motorsports truck at Nashville this month. Now we have Harvick talking about Anheuser Busch racing news. These two things aren’t directly related, but they might be somewhat.
Talking to Dale Jr. last year, Kevin Harvick wasn’t sure what his racing future held. Earnhardt tried to pitch him on doing a one-off or two races in the Xfinity Series like he does for JR Motorsports each year.
I’d argue that the Truck Series is to Harvick what the Xfinity Series is to Dale Jr. At least, personally. It is where he cut his teeth and where he learned to be a race car driver. Under the tutelage of Ron Hornaday Jr., Harvick showed his talent early on.
Whatever this announcement is, it will be interesting. If it ends up being a Truck Series sponsorship for a few races or something similar, it will be really fun for NASCAR fans. This is all speculation, of course, but a guy can dream.
