Kevin Harvick wraps first year in broadcast booth as FOX NASCAR coverage concludes for 2024
Kevin Harvick is officially a broadcaster with half-of-a-season’s worth of experience under his belt.
FOX Sports wrapped up its NASCAR coverage for the 2024 season with Sunday’s Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway, Harvick’s first season with the network. Harvick, who retired from full-time racing in the Cup Series following the 2023 campaign, signed off for the final time this season alongside Mike Joy and Clint Bowyer.
Joy said that he’d like to put Harvick up for the Emmy for most promising newcomer in television sports, though he joked he’ll have some competition with Tom Brady set to call NFL games on FOX this season.
“I’ve had a blast, thanks for all the help,” Harvick said.
Harvick will return in 2025, but until then, has his weekly “Happy Hour” podcast as an outlet to air his thoughts. Hosting alongside Mamba Smith and Kaitlyn Vincie, Harvick breaks down all the happenings from NASCAR and looks ahead to the upcoming race.

Kevin Harvick announces intention to drive in ASA race, CARS Tour race in 2024
Next up for Harvick is a chance to strap back inside a racecar. No, not in NASCAR, but behind the wheel of a late model. Harvick announced earlier this week he will pilot the No. 62 Chevrolet in the Deep South Cranes Blizzard Series event at Five Flags Speedway on June 28 and the zMAX CARS Tour race on August 3 at North Wilkesboro Speedway.
On the hood for both races is Busch Light, Harvick’s signature sponsor during his time with Stewart-Haas Racing.
“I’m excited to get back in the No. 62 for some short-track racing,” Harvick said. “We have great partners with Busch Light, carrying the iconic blue and white colors along with the mountain landscape across the car, as well as Hunt Brothers Pizza. Both have been a big part of my career and to continue those relationships beyond my NASCAR career is special.”
