Kim Mulkey wears basketball hoop-inspired outfit for conference home opener
Kim Mulkey wore a fit this afternoon that was nothing but net.
For LSU’s home opener in conference play today, Mulkey sported a shirt that included a net design that acted almost as a skirt hanging down. The front then had a basketball going through this hoop around her.
This was appropriate for the occasion too with it being ‘Dress Like Kim Mulkey Day’ in the PMAC.
No. 6 LSU remained undefeated today at 17-0 with the 73-63 win over Auburn. They are one of six teams that still haven’t lost so far this season, including one other team in their conference, who they’ll actually play next on Rocky Top, in Tennessee.
Four players scored in double-figures for the Tigers with Aneesah Morrow who led the way with yet another double-double of 21 points (9-12 FG) and 14 rebounds to go with three steals. Kailyn Gilbert (17) off the bench along with Flau’jae Johnson (12) and Mikaylah Williams (10) also did so for LSU.
This comes after LSU won by 34 in their league opener in the SEC earlier in the week at Arkansas.
Mulkey is known for her extravagant outfits on the sideline. This one was fitting, though, with her team hooping again today down in Baton Rouge.

Morrow, Gilbert lead LSU in 83-73 win over Auburn
No. 6 LSU (17-0, 2-0 SEC) defeated Auburn (9-6, 0-2 SEC) in the PMAC on Sunday by a final score of 73-63.
Aneesah Morrow earned her 15th double-double of the season with a 21-point, 14-rebound performance in the 10-point win.
Auburn was led by Audia Young, who scored 19 points on 7-10 shooting.
The Tigers are on the road at Tennessee for what’ll be a Top-15 matchup on Thursday. However, with a semifinal of the College Football Playoff that night with the Orange Bowl, the game will not air on linear television but will be streamed on the SEC Network+.
