For the first time ever, Kyle Busch raced against his son Brexton. They went head-to-head in the 600cc Winged Micros. The Battle of the Busch Family ended up with Kyle winning over Brexton in the end.

The father-son duo lined up together. Kyle Busch started P6 with Brexton P7. By the end of the 20-lap feature, Kyle finished P3 with Brexton P6. A solid race overall from both father and son at Millbridge Speedway.

Joey Robinson won the race with Nathan Meendering finishing as runner-up. Rowdy wasn’t able to best them for the win on Wednesday night.

This was the first race between father and son. It won’t be the last.

This was a big step for Brexton Busch. He made his first A-Class start at Millbridge and held his own. Remember, he isn’t even 10 years old, yet. More importantly, it appears that Kyle and Brexton have a deeper connection in racing as they start to compete against each other.

Kyle Busch isn’t the only NASCAR dad racing his son now. Kevin Harvick and his son Keelan have set up a schedule that includes multiple head-to-head battles. These kids grow up quick, folks. Soon, we’ll be seeing Harvick/Busch in the Truck or Xfinity Series – but it won’t be Kevin and Kyle.

Kyle Busch had NASCAR world on edge with announcement

Following a very long and hard day at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Kyle Busch worried the NASCAR world. He went to social media to announce that he had an announcement at 18:51 on Monday. Was it an early retirement, team change, or something else?

It turned out that it was only an announcement about this race. Busch had folks worried, but thankfully, it was something fun and exciting for fans as well as for Kyle and Brexton. That kid is going to be more than ready for the big time when that time comes.

Now that the two have raced, there is one more question – when does Brexton beat his dad? Clearly, his best chance is on dirt. Brexton has a lot of time on dirt and his dad just started to pick it up in the last few years. He’s pretty good at it, too, don’t get me wrong.

Kyle and Brexton Busch. How much are we going to see these two share a track together?
