Kyle Busch lists North Carolina mansion for $13 million
NASCAR Cup Series star Kyle Busch is selling his Lake Norman mansion just outside Charlotte, North Carolina, for $13 million.
Busch, the 2015 and ’19 Cup Series champion, purchased the 15,000-square-foot mansion in 2012 for a then-Charlotte area record $7.5 million, per The Charlotte Observer. Heather Gibbs of Corcoran HM Properties, who represents the trust in the sale of the seven-bedroom home, said there’s “there’s no real personal reason” behind the decision to sell.
The 1.3 acre home sits in a “super quiet” area of Lake Norman, and includes a beach area that never erodes due to the low boat traffic in the area. It features an interior which includes soaring beamed ceilings, travertine and walnut floors and floor-to-ceiling stone fireplaces, spa-like bathroom and private elevator to a boutique-style closet.
Additionally, the kitchen recently underwent a $1 million renovation. Renovations included adding two marble waterfall islands, sensor-touch cabinets, a black Dacor stainless steel range and Miele appliances. Take a stroll outside the home, and you’ll find an outdoor kitchen, heated swimming pool and boat dock.
“It’s a true masterpiece,” homebuilder Tony Forouzad said in 2012. “Nothing else like it on Lake Norman.”

Busch will start on the pole for Sunday’s Enjoy Illinois 300 at World Wide Technology Raceway. He put himself on top with a blazing-fast 30.802-second lap during qualifying Saturday.
“Being able to get a pole here with Richard Childress Racing and Team Chevy and everybody with this No. 8 car is great for us… We’ll try to get some momentum rolling,” Busch said. “Just excited to have the guys pumped up and raring to go.”
Busch nearly won this race last season — the Cup Series’ debut at the racetrack in the St. Louis area. He battled with eventual winner Joey Logano, narrowly missing out on victory. This time around, Busch admitted it might be tough for cars to pass.
“It might be a little tough to pass,” Busch said. “I hope I’m wrong and it widens out and we can have a good show for these fans that are coming out to pack the house and sit in this heat.”
