A new NASCAR season in 2025 means a brand-new paint scheme for Kyle Busch. Rebel Bourbon is reimagining its design. Richard Childress Racing fans are going to like this new take on the Rebel scheme.
Rebel Bourbon joined the portfolio of Kyle Busch’s sponsors last season. The brand put a black paint scheme on the track that looked to go with the RCR aesthetic.
In 2025, the Rebel paint scheme will be different. The hood and roof are made to look like wood from oak bourbon barrels. Then the rest of the car is wrapped in black that looks like the whisky fungus that covers buildings and barrels alike, giving them a sooty coating.
It’s hard to describe if you aren’t familiar with bourbon-making. Just check out the video below and see for yourself, then you’ll understand what I’m talking about.
What do you think about the new paint scheme for Kyle Busch? Is this an improvement on last year or just leaning too far into the bourbon aspect of this sponsorship?
Just taking a look at the RCR No. 8 in the video, 3CHI and Lenovo are not on the car. BetMGM, Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, and Zone nicotine pouches are displayed on the car. For what it’s worth, both brands are still listed on the RCR website.

Kyle Busch enjoying the offseason on the dirt
While Kyle Busch is taking in the NASCAR offseason, he is still racing. Busch has picked up dirt racing and most recently Midget racing. Last week he went out to California for his Midget debut and had familiar issues.
No matter what Busch drives this year, it is bound to end poorly. In the two events that Busch entered, he suffered a mechanical issue that kept him out of the feature race. He tried to make the Turkey Night Grand Prix but had to leave the track after a mechanical failure.
2024 has been hard for Busch. From the NASCAR track to the dirt track. But it does appear Rowdy is having fun while racing this offseason. Perhaps some of this low-stakes racing will put him in the right headframe for the 2025 Cup Series season.
Kyle Busch has at least one new paint scheme for next season. We will see if 3CHI and Lenovo return for 2025. Meanwhile, Busch has a lot of work to do before he goes to the Chili Bowl Nationals in January.
