Kyle Busch shares touching Father's Day message for his dad Tom
As the NASCAR off week comes to an end, NASCAR drivers like Kyle Busch are enjoying Father’s Day in their own special ways. Families are coming together, dads are firing up the grills all across the country, and even better, racing is almost back. The Busch family knows how to celebrate.
While Kurt and Kyle Busch have made a name for their family on the Cup Series stage, their father Tom was racing well before that. With Brexton Busch now racing Bandoleros and even some quarter midget action, there are three generations of Busch racers.
“Happy Fathers Day [sic] to the man, the myth, the legend Tom Busch. Proud to be raising the next generation of Busch champions,” Rowdy posted on Twitter. His post features a photo of himself and his dad working with Brexton on some race data of some kind.
It’s always a family affair at the race track.
I’m sure that the Busch family used the off week to rest up and recharge. Between Kyle’s schedule in NASCAR and Brexton’s own racing schedule, it is hard to keep up with all of the race tracks they go to. And Rowdy isn’t afraid to run some sprint cars every now and then, either.
When the season does return, Kyle Busch will find himself in a solid position as far as the playoffs are concerned.

Kyle Busch’s resurgence is real
In Busch’s last season with JGR, he won just a single race. Also, it came at Bristol Dirt after Chase Briscoe wrecked himself and Tyler Reddick at the finish. So, it wasn’t a drought really, but for Busch’s standards, it was a step back.
Now, a year later he is sitting with three wins on three very different tracks. Fontana, Talladega, and Gateway all offer different styles of racing. Kyle Busch has been in a position to win and has taken advantage of it in multiple ways. His performance at Gateway was particularly impressive as he won from the pole.
As the NASCAR season returns this week, Busch is in a great spot. He should be considered a contender for the Cup Series championship this season, even if he’s had some consistency issues at times.
Will Kyle Busch be able to get a couple of more wins before the regular season ends? Will he find his groove in the playoffs when it matters the most? Right now, he’s in a great place and will be looking to continue his bounce-back season.
