This year, the High Limit Racing sprint car series is heading to Australia, and you better bet that Kyle Larson is part of it. The series co-owner and NASCAR champion is going to get behind the wheel December 28-30 at Perth Motorplex to take part in the richest sprint car race in Australian history.

Winner takes home $100,000 in the finale. It will be a record-breaking purse in Australian sprint car history. There has long been a connection between American and Aussie sprint car racing. That now grows deeper.

The High Limit Racing event will be exclusively streamed on FloRacing.

“All of us at High Limit are excited to take the first step in expanding our brand to an international level,” said Kyle Larson, co-owner of High Limit Racing, via FloRacing. “Australian sprint car fans are passionate and super supportive. They deserve a six-figure paying race as do the Australian drivers and teams. I’m looking forward to getting down there with Brad (Sweet) and some of our High Rollers to race with those guys.”

While this is a High Limit Racing event, it will not be counting towards any point standings. There are six drivers from the Kubota High Limit Racing series locked into the entry list right now.

Kyle Larson is going to make his first-ever start at Perth. He will be joined by Brad Sweet, Cory Eliason, Parker Price-iller, and Rico Abreu from America. Australian James McFadden is also entered in the event.

So, the best of America is going to face off with the best of Australia. Callum Williamson, Dayne Kingshott, and Jason Kendrick will also be entered in the event.

During the NASCAR season, Kyle Larson is always looking for another race, another place to compete. Right now, High Limit helps him with that itch. However, in the offseason, there are fewer opportunities to race. So, Larson and friends made their own.

While Larson is closely tied to High Limit via his ownership, there are other rumors about Australia. Ever since Shane van Gisbergen showed what a Supercars driver can do in NASCAR, a few drivers want to test the waters Down Under.

Kyle Larson is rumored to be planning a start in Supercars. The only problem is that he has to wait until the NASCAR season is over. The season finale for Supercars takes place in Adelaide, two weeks after the Phoenix NASCAR finale. Could Larson hop down for a trip around Adelaide and then return for High Limit in Perth a month later?
