Kyle Larson dominates and wins Roval 400, four drivers eliminated from NASCAR Playoffs

A newly reconfigured Roval course gave us a very interesting race. Kyle Larson dominated the second half and went on to win. However, the big news is the four drivers who were unable to make the Round of 8 in the NASCAR Playoffs.
Kyle Larson has six wins now this season. He has two wins at the Roval in his career, the last coming in 2021 and he later went on to win the championship that season.
Speaking of 2021, this is a very similar season. He doesn’t have quite as many wins, but he could honestly go into the Round of 8 and sweep every race.
Joey Logano, Daniel Suárez, Austin Cindric, and Chase Briscoe were all unable to advance to the Round of 8.
Larson, William Byron, Christopher Bell, Denny Hamlin, Ryan Blaney, Chase Elliott, Alex Bowman, and Tyler Reddick are all advancing to the Round of 8.
Early on in the race, it was clear that Kyle Larson was one of the best cars on the track. Shane van Gisbergen controlled the first stage. Reddick, smartly, stayed out and won the stage, the points, and the stage point.
That stage win would be massive. Reddick only advanced by a handful of points. Every position and point mattered today, and that regular season championship really came in handy for the 45 team.

Is Kyle Larson about to dominate the Round of 8?
The last time Kyle Larson won the Roval was in 2021. He then went on to win two more races in a row to start the Round of 8, Texas and Kansas. Of course, he would then go on to win the pole and the race at Phoenix.
To go further, Larson also won the Bristol race in 2021 as well as this season. The same thing goes for Sonoma and Las Vegas-1. After the race, Larson mentioned that he spent time on the simulator for the Roval, something he rarely does. I bet he does that a few more times this season.
Las Vegas, Homestead-Miami, and Martinsville are all tracks that Larson can and has won on. It would not be crazy to see him walk away with one, two, or three more wins before the season is over.
If Kyle Larson and Cliff Daniels are clicking like they appeared to be today, then it might be over before it begins. This team is very much the favorite to win the championship and will have a +33 advantage going into the Round of 8.
