Once again, Kyle Larson is heading to the NASCAR Championship 4 in Phoenix. He will have a great shot at his second Cup Series championship. Larson was fast all day. Even a small tap against the wall with his right rear in Stage 2 couldn’t slow him down. Both stages and the checkered flag, that’s a perfect day in Las Vegas.

This was a close finish between Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell. It came down to about a car length after Bell tried to slingshot himself around the 5 car. He just needed one more lap to make the pass.

Bell couldn’t complete the win from the pole but had a great race finishing P2.

It will be Kyle Larson heading to Phoenix first. Three more drivers in the NASCAR Playoffs will now try to join him. Watch below as Larson just barely beats Bell. Fastest cars in qualifying, fastest cars after 400 miles.

This is the fourth win of the season for Kyle Larson. His last win was at Darington. In his previous three races, Larson was P31, P15, and P13. This was a nice turnaround from that and Hendrick is back in the Championship 4.

Larson was the favorite coming into the race weekend and he dominated the actual event itself. Just an all-around great performance by Larson and his team.

Now they will try and get William Byron into the Phoenix race by whatever means possible.

Kyle Larson comes up all aces at Las Vegas

Three of the last six champions have won the opening race of the Round of 8. That includes Kyle Larson in his 2021 championship run. He won at Texas and then went on to win at Phoenix in convincing fashion.

By the way, if you think that Larson is going to sit back for two weeks, think again. Homestead-Miami is one of Larson’s favorite tracks. He can run the wall high and just flat-outrun everyone else on the track.

In that 2021 run, Larson let it all out to close the Round of 12 and to start the Round of 8. He went and won three straight races from the Roval to Texas to Kansas. I really believe that we could see Larson go back-to-back as the Cup Series heads to Miami in a week. Let’s not forget, he won at Martinsville this year, too.

In this Next Gen era, back-to-back wins are rare. It’s incredibly difficult to be that consistent week to week. Kyle Larson will try to join William Byron, Kevin Harvick, and Chris Buescher as the only drivers to win back-to-back races in the Next Gen era.
