Between NASCAR, dirt racing, owning the High Limit Racing series, and his duties as a father and husband, Kyle Larson leads a busy life. So, what does the Cup Series champion have in mind for the 2024-2025 offseason?

Kyle Larson has already raced a few times on dirt since the Phoenix finale in NASCAR. He finished his Cup Series career with six wins, led the most laps, and led a lot of major statistical categories. But he fell short of the Championship 4.

Larson spoke with Brad Gillie for Race Industry Week 2024 on Monday. He outlined the rest of his plans for the offseason. After all, we’re two months away from the Clash at Bowman Gray.

“A lot. Our offseasons the last couple of years have been pretty calm. This year it’s getting… although we’re going on a couple of vacations with some racing mixed in, we’re not really home much,” Larson explained. “So yeah, we’ve already been on one vacation, we got another vacation coming up in a week and a half. Then I have some more racing to do, too. I’m excited to go to Australia. I’ll go there. We leave Christmas night for Australia. I go there for just like five or six days to race the sprint car at Perth. It’s promoted by High Limit as well. So, we’re going to pay 100 grand to win which is by far the largest-paying race in Australian sprint car racing history.

“So, excited about that, I think the crowd will be huge, I think the competition will be great. Really looking forward to getting to that side of the country, I’ve never been to the western side of Australia. So, excited to get there. We’ll head back for the Tulsa Shootout, Owen’s racing there for the first time. Going to go support him. Then yeah, not long after that it’s media days and production days and all that getting ready for the Clash. Yeah, getting ready for the new season.”

If I were to bet, I’d bet Kyle Larson picks up a win or two before the NASCAR season starts. He is coming off a strong year in the Cup Series and is ready to keep that momentum going into 2025.

Could we see Larson even try the Chili Bowl again in 2025? We will have to wait and see.
