Kyle Larson picks Clint Bowyer to win Truck Series race at Nashville
Tonight, Clint Bowyer is firing off P11 in the Rackley Roofing 200 at Nashville, and Kyle Larson likes his chances to win. At least, the NASCAR Cup Series champion is supporting his friend in the race tonight.
Clint Bowyer has not raced in NASCAR for a few years. He has been getting lazy and comfortable in the broadcast booth. Jokes aside, Bowyer looks ready to go tonight at a race track that he has been so good at in the past.
Kyle Larson and Bowyer have a friendship off the track. Their sons, Owen and Cash, are friends and competitors on the race track in their own right. Brian Pattie on the pit box calling the shots, could Bowyer win in this Spire truck?
Now, Clint Bowyer could have done better in qualifying. After all, he is a former 10-time winner in the Cup Series. But, Bowyer has always been a better racer than he was a qualifier. Not many pole awards in his career.
Bowyer is going to have to race against all of these young guns. Those regulars in the Truck Series are no slouches. There are future Cup Series drivers throughout the field and other talented wheelmen.
Kyle Larson believes in Clint. Even if his son, Cash, gave him a hard time before today’s race. It is going to be a fun one tonight in Music City.

Clint Bowyer gets the nerves out after early wreck
If there were any nerves for Clint Bowyer firing off for the first green flag of the night, they were gone in just a few laps. An early incident involving Dean Thompson brought out a very quick caution flag.
Knowing that he could fire off and keep up with these young drivers had to be a relief to Bowyer. You never know until you are out there actually doing the dang thing. In the first 10 laps, there were two cautions. At that point, maybe Bowyer starts to get nervous again.
Kidding aside, Bowyer is one to watch. Once he gets comfortable, he is going to start showing these young guys how it is done. I truly believe that. Bowyer is not the winningest driver ever, but he is a hard-nosed driver who knows how to race.
This one is still early. Who do you have in tonight’s Truck Series race? Clint Bowyer will try to make Kyle Larson proud and race for the win. Will he be able to
