Kyle Larson rallies back for epic win after late spin at Homestead-Miami, keeps sweep dreams alive

You can’t win all three if you don’t win the first! Kyle Larson did what Kyle Larson does and is walking away with the win tonight. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series delivered an instant classic tonight. One of the best stock car races you will see all year.
Kyle Larson said it was “unbelievable” and he is right. He was spun with less than 50 laps to go in this race. Larson overstepped and got into Layne Riggs. The Cup champion kept his truck spinning around and made it to pit road.
Like he has done in every series in NASCAR, Larson came from the back of the field to win this race tonight. Phenomenal win. Corey Heim had a mechanical issue late to prevent him from picking up his third win of the season.
Layne Riggs came up just short. To be the best, you gotta beat the best. Kyle Larson is the best.
Tyler Ankrum, Daniel Hemric, Ross Chastain, Jake Garcia, Chandler Smith, Grant Enfinger, and Kaden Honeycutt rounded out the top-10. Here are the full results, via Bob Pockrass of FOX Sports.

From the start of this race, it was an electric event. It was the top three drivers from the jump. Larson, Riggs, and Heim. Of course, Chastain kept things incredibly interesting. He sent it in deep from the start and ended up wrecking Gio Ruggiero and Ben Rhodes.
Kyle Larson couldn’t believe Truck Series finish
Kyle Larson ran from the back and passed Riggs in the last few laps to win. Race one of three in the books and the sweep is alive.
After the race, Larson couldn’t believe how it played out. Then he took his son Owen on a ride to victory lane.
“That was pretty unbelievable from my seat,” Larson said after the race. “I wasn’t exactly sure if I could get back up there. Didn’t have the restart that I wanted. Kinda took a little bit too long to start picking them of and then just got ripping the wall on both ends, and it was really paying dividends for me and just staying wound up.
“I caught some of the guys who were doing just good enough up there where I couldn’t get by and bogged my momentum down. Got clear of them and then not sure what happened to the 11 but that worked out in our favor for sure. I don’t think I would have gotten to him, obviously, I would have gotten to second, probably but it would have been tough to get to him. But that last run was a lot of fun.”
