Kyle Larson has done a lot of cool things on NASCAR race tracks. What he has an opportunity to accomplish this weekend at Homestead might top everything else.

Larson will race in all three NASCAR races this weekend, starting with the Truck Series. After that he’ll get in a car for the Xfinity Series race before competing like normal in the Cup Series on Sunday.

It’ll be quite an exhaustive itinerary for him. But if he pulled it off…

“Sure, yeah, I guess you can consider it a bucket list sort of thing,” Larson said of winning all three races on a Zoom call shared by FOX Sports’ Bob Pockrass. “I think it’s just a really tough feat to do it, and I think Kyle Busch is maybe the only one who’s done it, and he’s done it multiple times at Bristol. So to join him in something like that would be pretty special.”

Larson, one of the most prolific drivers in NASCAR, has already accomplished some truly historic things. Just last year he attempted a feat that was up there with any of them when he tried to run a double with the Indianapolis 500 and the Coca-Cola 600.

He ultimately wasn’t quite able to pull it off, as inclement weather slowed his travel and prevented him from getting into the car and on the track at Charlotte. But the attempt fascinated viewers everywhere.

Those same viewers will likely be locked in for this week’s events at Homestead. It’s not often you see a driver compete in all three NASCAR races.

And there’s little doubt that Larson is capable of winning all three. He’s proven it time and time again.

“But yeah, really more than anything I just love the opportunity to race,” Larson said. “I love Homestead. And I didn’t have any other dirt races to do this weekend, so I felt like it was a perfect weekend to try and run all three and potentially win all three would be great.”

The Baptist Health 200 will kick things off in the Truck Series on Friday night at 8 ET. That will be followed by the Xfinity Series race at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday. Finally, the Cup Series Straight Talk Wireless 400 will begin at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday.
