There seemingly isn’t a race on earth that Kyle Larson isn’t willing to compete in, with the NASCAR Cup Series driver trying his hand across disciplines several times in recent years.

Larson attempted to pull the double last year with the Indy 500 and the Coca-Cola 600, but he was only able to complete the first half.

Now he’s eyeing other opportunities.

“Well it’s tough to do a whole lot while you’re a full-time competitor,” Kyle Larson said Wednesday on The Teardown podcast. “So I think more of that will maybe come when I’m done full-time racing someday. But Le Mans I think would be really awesome. After doing the Indy 500 a lot of people told me that the atmosphere at Le Mans is even better than the Indy 500, so I would like to experience that someday.”

Le Mans is obviously one of the biggest racing spectacles in the world, part of the famous Triple Crown of Motorsport, which also includes the Indianapolis 500 and the Monaco Grand Prix.

Because Le Mans will take place in the middle of June, it’ll be tough for Kyle Larson to swing while he’s in the seat of a Cup Series car.

But there are other races that Larson could partake in.

“I think like something on near radar, I would love to do like a Supercar event,” Larson said. “And then the one that I would like to do would be Adelaide because it’s their final race of the year, it’s after our season this coming year and they have a sprint-car track now in the city too, so I could do both. That would be really cool. Hopefully we can get something like that done.”

Whatever the case, Kyle Larson will certainly have fans watching and supporting him.

The talented driver had the eyes of the racing world on him last year when he attempted the double. And while he completed the Indy 500, Larson wasn’t able to reach Charlotte in time to get behind the wheel for the Coca-Cola 600 due to weather issues.

Still, it’s impossible to deny the buzz Larson created by attempting the feat.

Racing at Le Mans or Adelaide? That would certainly amp up the intensity a notch for Kyle Larson as he continues to add feats to his already impressive resume.
