Lamar Jackson, C.J. Stroud share amazing moment after Ravens-Texans game
The Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens found themselves tied 10-10 at halftime of their AFC Divisional Playoff game on Saturday. That was until Baltimore put their foot on the gas in the second half, scoring four unanswered touchdowns to defeat Houston 34-10 to advance to the AFC Championship.
The matchup marked the second playoff game in the young career of Texans rookie quarterback CJ Stroud and the first conference championship game birth for Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson six seasons into his NFL career.
After the game, the two signal callers shared a special moment on the field, exchanging some words of encouragement in a tender moment that can be seen below.
“Go win it all bro,” Stroud told Jackson after the game.
“It’s the beginning for you Cuz, you feel me? You’re gonna be there, you hear me?” Jackson replied to Stroud.
Stroud dazzled all season long for the Texans after being drafted No. 2 overall by Houston in the 2023 NFL Draft. He set numerous rookie records during the regular season, completing 63.9% percent of his passes for 4,108 yards, 23 touchdown passes, and just five interceptions.

Stroud’s luck ran out on Saturday against the Ravens, throwing for just 175 yards and failing to reach the end zone against Baltimore’s menacing defense, which became the first defense in NFL history to lead the league in sacks, opponent points per game, and takeaways following the regular season.
The Ravens allowed just one touchdown in Saturday’s game on a 67-yard punt return for a score by Steven Sims, with Jackson leading Baltimore’s scoring surge offensively with four total touchdowns and 252 total yards between his arm and legs.
