Lions CB Cameron Sutton wanted on domestic violence charges
Detroit Lions cornerback Cameron Sutton is wanted in Florida in connection with a domestic violence charge, WDIV 4 reported Wednesday.
Per the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Sutton is wanted for aggravated battery domestic violence.
Police issued the warrant on March 7 after Sutton allegedly assaulted a woman in Lutz, Florida. Sutton is said to be driving a Jeep Grand Wagoner with Florida license plate AZ33QB. Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to call 813-247-8200.

Sutton, 29, is coming off his first season with the Lions. He started all 17 games, tallying a career-high 65 tackles (50 solo), four tackles for loss, one interception and six passes defended. Sutton spent the previous six seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, who selected him in the third-round of the 2017 NFL Draft out of Tennessee.
He appeared in 84 games (39 starts) for Pittsburgh, compiling 168 tackles (143 solo), eight tackles for loss, eight interceptions and 38 passes defended. Sutton signed a three-year, $33 million deal with $22.5 million guaranteed with the Lions last offseason. He is slated to start at corner this season alongside Carlton Davis, whom Detroit acquired from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week.
