Livvy Dunne looked back on the rookie season for her boyfriend, Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes, in an Instagram post on Monday. Skenes concluded Year 1 of his pro career in a 9-4 victory against the Yankees on Saturday.

Dunne, who is a gymnast at LSU where she met Skenes, posted a photo dump of some of her favorite moments the two shared. Most of the pictures included the two standing together before Skenes games, as well as a shot of her cheering him on in the crowd. You can view the post below.

Skenes finished his rookie year with an 11-3 record, a 1.96 ERA and 170 strikeouts across 133 innings (1.3 per inning). He was named an All-Star and is a contender for Rookie of the Year with that kind of performance. He went out on top by striking out three batters in two perfect innings on Saturday, including Juan Soto.

Skenes led LSU to the College World Series title in 2023 after transferring in from Air Force. He was named the National Player of the Year after setting an SEC record with 209 strikeouts to only 20 walks.

That is where he met Dunne, who is set to return to Baton Rouge for a fifth and final season this coming year. She has become one of the most recognizable college athletes in the country with an NIL valuation of $4 million according to On3.

Paul Skenes and Livvy Dunne have become somewhat of a power couple with their accomplishments in sports and have been together for more than a year now. They surely have many more happy ones ahead of them.
