Ahead of the weekend in Nashville, Hendrick Motorsports announced sponsor LLumar will stay with the team and Chase Elliott through 2026. The sponsorship extension will include two more races with LLumar as a primary sponsor this NASCAR season. Each year after this season will be a two-race commitment from the sponsor.

LLumar is a brand of window film and ain’t protection film. It has partnered with Chase Elliott and Hendrick since the 2021 season. This partnership has now been solidified through most of the decade.

Sponsors are the name of the game in NASCAR nowadays. When it comes to getting a partnership with the sport’s Most Popular Driver, LLumar is just as excited to get that deal done as Hendrick.

“We are excited to extend our sponsorship with Hendrick Motorsports and the No. 9 team,” Erin Bernhardt, GM of Eastman Performance Films, LLC said. “This sponsorship has helped increase awareness of the LLumar brand and the benefits of window tint and paint protection film for vehicle and homeowners.”

I’m excited about it just because the LLumar schemes almost always look great. Chase Elliott and his boss Mr. Hendrick are happy to have the deal done and over with.

Chase Elliott, Rick Hendrick on LLumar partnership

There was a time when Hendrick Motorsports was struggling. They almost closed up shop if it wasn’t for that Martinsville win in 1984. So, Rick Hendrick understands that partnerships shouldn’t be taken for granted.

“We’re delighted to extend our program with Eastman and the LLumar brand,” Rick Hendrick said. “LLumar offers tremendous products that we stand behind through the No. 9 team and in our Hendrick Automotive Group car dealerships across the country. It’s been rewarding to see them win races with Chase, translating to even more success off the track. We look forward to the future and continuing to grow our relationship together.”

As for the 2020 NASCAR champion, Chase Elliott is just as happy to have LLumar sign on for the next three years.

“I’m excited to continue our relationship with LLumar and to get two additional chances to get them to victory lane this season,” Elliott said. “I’ve really enjoyed getting to meet many of the Eastman employees over the years, whether it’s at their facilities near tracks where we compete or having them out for the races. I look forward to seeing what we can continue to accomplish together in the coming years.”

So, things are moving right along at Hendrick. When they roll out next season and the year after and so on, LLumar will be on board.
