Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers put on a hoodie to make a statement on Sunday. After taking down Baltimore 31-30, Rodgers put on a hoodie with the phrase “cancel culture” crossed out.
The reigning NFL MVP took heat some weeks ago after it was revealed that he did not receive the vaccine for COVID-19 after testing positive.
Rodgers told the media previously that he was “immunized,” leading many to believe that he intended to deceive the public.
After dealing with some backlash, like losing a sponsorship with a Wisconsin-based health group, Rodgers has transcended the drama. Green Bay is 11-3 on the year and in complete control of the NFC North.
The Packers quarterback didn’t wear the cancel culture hoodie during his official post-game press conference, instead, donning it for a podcast appearance.

Critics were quick to point out that Rodgers is not “canceled” in any meaningful way. In fact, he is going to the Pro Bowl for the 10th time thanks to NFL fans. He also earned the NFC’s starting quarterback role over Tom Brady and he’s the favorite to win the MVP award yet again.
Packers announce Pro Bowl selections
The NFL announced its Pro Bowl selections for the 2021-2022 season on Wednesday. It should come as no surprise that the NFC-leading Green Bay Packers have quite a few selections on their team.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, wide receiver Davante Adams, and defensive tackle Kenny Clark will all represent for the Pack at the Pro Bowl. The Green Bay Packers celebrated the announcement with a tribute video to the three on their Twitter account.
For Rodgers, this makes his 10th Pro Bowl selection, passing Green Bay legend Brett Favre for most selections. For his favorite pass-catching threat, Adams, this selection is his fifth straight Pro Bowl and he, too, earned a starting role. Defensive tackle Kenny Clark got his first outright selection. In 2018, he was an alternate and, in 2019, he was an injury replacement.
