Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni gets his first introduction into the rivalry with the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night. As if the matchup needed anymore juice, Sirianni is diving head first into it with his t-shirt choice.

“I’m sure they’re going to have a picture of this shirt on (their bulletin board). And that’s fine,” Sirianni said of his “Beat Dallas” shirt. “I can’t tell you how many times since I’ve been here having an interaction with a fan, it’s like, ‘Hey, beat Dallas.’”

Evidently, Sirianni has an interesting t-shirt collection. After wearing a Jalen Hurts shirt after a victory in Week 1, the Eagles first-year head coach is attempting to get his team riled up for Dallas.

Entering the season, the Eagles were widely predicted to finish last in the division. Now, they enter Monday’s game tied for first with Dallas and Washington. In a division that figures to be close once again, a win against the Cowboys would go a long way.

Moreover, the Eagles head coach’s shirt choice is definitely something that will be on the minds of Cowboys players. However, Dallas is giving the Eagles their own bulletin board material as well.

Micah Parsons sends message to Jalen Hurts

One of the headaches the Eagles will deal with as they prepare for the Cowboys is newly-minted defensive end, Micah Parsons. Last week, Parsons had a tremendous game against the Los Angeles Chargers — terrorizing Justin Herbert in his first game playing defensive end since high school.

After ruining Herbert’s day, Parsons has a message for Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, as well as other quarterbacks the Cowboys face. According to The Athletic’s Jon Machota, Parsons is getting his Arnold Schwarzanegger on.

“Every quarterback (we face this season) is on the hit list,” Parsons said. “I want all of them. (Jalen) Hurts is on the hit list now, too. You got to look at it like you’re trying to be like The Terminator out there.”

If Sirianni’s shirt is making the Cowboys’ bulletin board, Parson’s hit-list is certainly making Philadelphia’s. When the Eagles face Dallas on Monday night, expect the Philadelphia offensive lineman to be extra chipper as they block Parsons.

Cowboys rule out three players for Monday night

As the Eagles try to leave Dallas with a victory, they won’t have to deal with some talented players. The Cowboys have ruled out three players for Monday night’s NFC East battle vs. the Eagles.

“Cowboys DE Dorance Armstrong, DT Carlos Watkins, OT Ty Nsekhe will not play Monday night against the Eagles,” reported John Machota of the Athletic.

Despite facing adversity from injuries last week, the Cowboys were able to showcase their depth. We’ll see if they can overcome their injuries and use Sirianni’s shirt as enough motivation to win their second game of the season.
