Los Angeles Rams select Beaux Limmer in sixth round of 2024 NFL Draft
The Los Angeles Rams have selected Arkansas offensive lineman Beaux Limmer in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. He spent five seasons in college honing his skills and is now ready to show off what he’s learned in the pros.
Limmer started in 41 of the 49 games he appeared in with the Razorbacks over the past five years. He mainly played at right guard across his first four seasons before making the move over to center in 2024 after starting his first game there in the Liberty Bowl to close 2022.
Limmer finished as Arkansas’ highest-graded offensive lineman this past season according to Pro Football Focus with an overall grade of 74.5. He played 809 total snaps to allow only three sacks and also had the team’s best run blocking grade with 77.6.
His 2022 season was perhaps even more impressive as he helped the Razorbacks to finish seven in the country with 236.7 rushing yards per game. Arkansas’ 6,128 total yards gained that year ranked second in school history as Limmer earned second team All-SEC honors for his efforts. He played a team-high 983 snaps and allowed just four sacks.
As a recruit, Limmer was a three-star prospect coming out of Tyler Legacy High School in Tyler, Texas. He ranked as the No. 702 overall player and No. 48 interior offensive lineman in the 2019 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

What NFL Draft analysts are saying about Beaux Limmer
NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein provided some analysis on Limmer in his recent scout of the offensive lineman’s draft profile. He noted the versatility that he will bring to the next level after having played multiple positions in college, as well as his elite ability as a run blocker.
That said, he also suggested a need for the 6-foot-5, 302 pound Limmer to bulk up in order to match the strength level he will see in the pros. He also had questions about his ability as a pass blocker.
“Limmer brings center/guard flexibility and a wealth of starting experience in the challenging SEC,” Zierlein wrote. “He has decent upper-body strength and good lower-body flexibility to provide leverage, but he could use additional mass on his frame. His clear eyes and accurate block entries give him early leads in the initial phase as a run blocker, and he maintains active feet to stay connected to his blocks over the first and second level.
“His tendency to lean and sit heavily on his feet has created problems mirroring rushers at both guard and center, and that is likely to continue for him as a pro. Limmer’s run blocking should create an NFL opportunity at center, but the pass protection must improve.”
