Los Angeles Rams sign several draft picks to rookie deals
Former Michigan star Blake Corum is officially a running back for the Los Angeles Rams after signing his first-ever NFL contract.
Corum was one of several Rams who signed deals as the team gathered in LA for its rookie minicamp. The Rams official site posted a photo gallery of the rookies who signed their deals. You can check that here.
Others who signed include the team’s four selections in the sixth round. They are former Texas receiver Jordan Whittington; Clemson defensive tackle Tyler Davis; Stanford kicker Joshua Karty and center Beaux Limmer. Tackle K.T. Leveston, the Rams’ seventh rounder, also signed.
Rams selected two Florida State stars in first, second rounds
Former Florida State Braden Fiske, the team’s second rounder, signed a day earlier. The big name still remaining is first-rounder Jared Verse, the edge rusher from Florida State.

There’s not much negotiation that goes on with these rookie deals. They are all for four years with the pay based on the draft slot. The first rounders receive a contract with an option for a fifth year. But that extra year won’t be decided until the season before it’s supposed to kick in.
The Rams selected Corum with the 83rd pick in the third round. According to Spotrac, his rookie deal is worth roughly $5.745 million.
