Los Angeles Rams trade Tre’Davious White to Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens (6-3) have acquired cornerback Tre’Davious White from the Los Angeles Rams (4-4), Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reported Tuesday.
Baltimore, along with White, is acquiring a 2027 seventh round pick in exchange for a 2026 seventh round pick.
White, just over a year removed from a season-ending Achilles tear, signed a one-year, $4.25 million deal with the Rams this past offseason. The 29-year-old, who hasn’t played since Week 4 in late September, tallied 12 tackles (nine solo) and two passed defended in Los Angeles.
The Rams made White a healthy scratch in their last four games due to poor play, and he was reportedly a cut candidate before Baltimore swooped in ahead of Tuesday’s 4 p.m. ET NFL trade deadline. He’ll look to get back into the lineup with the Ravens, who own the league’s worst pass defense, surrendering 280.9 yards per game.

Ravens bolster defense with acquisition of Tre’Davious White
White, the former LSU star, was one of the NFL’s best corners during his seven-season tenure with the Buffalo Bills (7-2). He earned two Pro Bowl selections in Buffalo and was a First-Team All-Pro in 2019. White has compiled 18 interceptions and 70 passed defended in eight years in the league.
The Rams openly allowed White and his agents to explore a trade.
“He’s been such a pro about the way he’s handled obviously a not-ideal situation for him,” head coach Sean McVay said last week. “If you guys saw the way he’s practiced, the way that he’s been a pro in every sense of the word, and approaches some things where, he hasn’t been active the last three weeks. Guy wants an opportunity to be able to compete, and we love him here.
“We’d like to be able to keep him here, but if that is something that he and his agent want to be able to explore, we’re obviously respectfully understanding of that. And so, the answer is yes, we’ve allowed them to be able to talk to some teams to see if that’s a possibility.”
