Louisville, former Alabama WR Ja'Corey Brooks declares for 2025 NFL Draft

Louisville wide receiver Ja’Corey Brooks, who started his career at Alabama, is turning pro, he announced on Tuesday. Brooks has declared for the 2025 NFL Draft after topping the 1,000-yard mark for the Cardinals this season.

Ja’Corey Brooks set career highs in receptions, yards and touchdowns in 2024, catching 61 passes for 1,013 yards and nine touchdowns as he helped Louisville to an 8-4 record.

Brooks was a five-star recruit and the No. 2 wide receiver in the country in the class of 2021, per the On3 Industry rankings. He caught 57 passes for 896 yards and 10 touchdowns across three seasons at Alabama, prior to entering the transfer portal.

He then ended up at Louisville where he had a career year in 2024 before declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft.
