Transfer quarterback Tyler Shough took over as starter this season and has so far thrown for 581 yards and six touchdowns with no interceptions. Ja’Corey Brooks has been his top target with 13 catches for 172 yards and a touchdown.
As for Georgia Tech, it is off to a 3-1 start, including 1-1 against ACC opponents. The Yellow Jackets opened the season a week earlier than most teams against Florida State in Dublin, Ireland, coming out with a 24-21 victory.
Unfortunately, they would later suffer their first loss of the year to Syracuse in Week 2. Georgia Tech rebounded nicely with a 59-7 rout of VMI this past week and will look to carry that momentum over into this game.
In order to do so, they’ll need a big game out of quarterback Haynes King, who tossed for 275 yards and three touchdowns on Saturday.
