SEC play will continue to heat up in Week 8 as LSU and Arkansas square off. The early point spread has been released for the matchup, as well.
LSU opened as a 4.5-point favorite against Arkansas, according to FanDuel. The over-under also opened at 58.5 points.
Arkansas was on a bye in Week 7 after pulling off one of the many upsets in Week 6. The Razorbacks came all the way back against Tennessee to get the 19-14 victory over the No. 4-ranked Vols. That moved Sam Pittman’s group to 4-2 overall and 2-1 in league play entering the week off, and all eyes will be on the health of Taylen Green after he left with an injury.
On the LSU side, the Tigers bring one of the top passing attacks in the SEC. They entered Week 7 second in the league in passing offense only behind Ole Miss as Garrett Nussmeier averages more than 330 yards per game in the air.

How to watch LSU vs. Arkansas
Time: Oct. 19, 7 p.m. ET
Channel: ESPN, FuboTV (Streaming)
Location: Razorback Stadium, Fayetteville, Ark.
Ahead of Arkansas’ bye week, all eyes were on Taylen Green after he left the Tennessee victory with a knee injury. Sam Pittman confirmed he didn’t suffer any ligament damage, but considered the quarterback “day-to-day” as the Razorbacks entered their week off.
“We don’t think it’s an MCL, now,” Pittman said. “More of a bone bruise. And very, very sore on him. Hopefully he’ll be back by LSU. It’ll kind of be day-to-day right now. But our diagnosis was not any ligament damage.”
Green is in his first year at Arkansas after transferring from Boise State. He has become the centerpiece of Bobby Petrino’s offense in Fayetteville, entering Saturday with 1,236 passing yards and five touchdowns while adding 331 rushing yards and four touchdowns. That comes after three years at Boise State, where he spent two years as the starter and threw for 3,794 yards.
