The stage has been set for an exciting SEC clash in Week 12, with the LSU Tigers traveling to Gainesville to take on the Florida Gators.

Ahead of the showdown, FanDuel Sportsbook has released the early point spread for the showdown, and LSU is favored by 5.5 points at the moment. Additionally, the over/under has been set at 56.5 points for the conference battle.

Amid all the changes in college football, LSU and Florida is a rivalry that dates back many, many seasons. The all-time series is as close as it can get in the sport, with the Tigers currently having the better of the Gators, with a 34-33-3 record in the clash of conference competitors.

LSU has been dominant over the better part of the last decade, including a current five-game win-streak. They defeated the Gators by a score of 52-35 last season, and Florida has only won twice against LSU since 2013.

Will Billy Napier and Florida be able to buck the recent trend of dominance from the Bayou Bengals in 2024? It’d certainly go a long way towards building some goodwill for the Gators leader. Time will tell, but it should be an awesome SEC contest in Week 12, that’s for sure.
