Former LSU star defensive back Tyrann Mathieu has officially been introduced as the newest member of the New Orleans Saints. Mathieu participated in a press conference Wednesday afternoon to discuss coming back to his hometown.

Just to have that opportunity means a lot to me. More than anything I just want to know take advantage of it and make the most of it.”
Mathieu spent the last three seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he won Super Bowl LIV. Last season, Mathieu accumulated 60 solo tackles, three forced fumbles, three interceptions and one sack and a touchdown to help lead the Chiefs’ defensive effort in 2021.
