LSU Tigers WR Malik Nabers has made a decision on the 2024 NFL Draft. He has officially decided to take his talents to the NFL.

Even though he fell one vote shy behind Marvin Harrison Jr. in the voting for the Biletnikoff Award, Nabers certainly had an argument that he was the best receiver in college football through 2023.

After a relatively quiet first two weeks of the season — 11 catches for 154 yards and a touchdown — Nabers saw his production explode. He finished under 100 receiving yards just once and failed to score a touchdown in only two of the final 10 games.

It all began in Week 3 with a 13 catch, 239-yard and two touchdown performance. He finishes the season with 1546 yards — leading the nation — and 14 touchdowns on 86 catches as the preferred target of superstar quarterback Jayden Daniels.

In the long line of star LSU wide receivers, Malik Nabers etched his name into that prestigious group, and his future is brighter than ever. If there’s a ball thrown in his direction, there’s a pretty fantastic chance that he’ll come down with it, no matter how difficult it is.

Players will have the opportunity to solidify their draft stock at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana from February 26 through March 4.

The three-day event will be broadcasted throughout the weekend on ESPN and NFL Network.

To be eligible for the NFL Draft, players must be at least three years removed from their final year of high school while having used up their collegiate eligibility. Underclassmen are able to request league approval to become eligible for the draft, as are players who have graduated prior to using up all of their collegiate eligibility.

Last season, 69 players were granted special eligibility for the 2023 NFL Draft. 13 underclassmen who had completed their college degrees were also deemed eligible to be selected.

The deadline to declare for the 2024 NFL Draft is on January 15. NFL teams will receive a full list of eligible players in the class on January 19.
