The Luka Doncic trade may finally become reality for some on Tuesday night. He will be going up against the Dallas Mavericks for the first time as a Los Angeles Laker. With the game being played on the West Coast, there has been an advertising push from Doncic and one of his partners, Jumpman.

One will benefit a group of Lakers fans as a parking lot has been completely bought out. People attending the game can get free parking courtesy of Doncic and Jumpman. A great move from the NBA superstar ahead of a massive game for him on a personal level.

“A sign is now up for FREE PARKING at tonight’s game, courtesy of @luka7doncic and @Jumpman23 I have never seen a player purchase an entire parking lot for fans,” Fredo Cervantes of The Sporting Tribune said via X. “Parking lot located across the street from Tom’s Sports Bar.”

Doncic is known as an emotional player at times and there should be some emotions on Tuesday. Revenge might be at the top of his mind, specifically with Dallas general manager Nico Harrison in the building. Many are expecting a vintage Doncic performance, one we are used to seeing from him in a Mavericks uniform.

Fans are going to be heading to Crypto.com Arena to watch everything unfold and now have an opportunity to get some free parking. Doncic is still getting associated with the local Los Angeles community and as if he needed anymore goodwill, this gesture will go a long way.

More on Luka Doncic, time with Los Angeles Lakers

Even after being traded, Doncic missed a little time due to an injury. He has only played in four games with the Lakers and is slowly hitting his strive. His averages are still good but certainly not up to his standard — 19 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game.

Saturday against the Denver Nuggets is when vintage Doncic really came out for the first time. Going for 32 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists is more what NBA fans are used to seeing from the 25-year-old. Just three dimes away from his first triple-double with the team.

More is certainly on the way. Not many teams in the NBA are playing better than the Lakers right now, winning seven of nine in the month of February. Taking down the Mavericks on Tuesday would mean a little more than the others, at least in Doncic’s eyes.
