The New England Patriots and veteran wideout Mack Hollins have agreed to terms on a two-year, $8.4 million deal that maxes out at $10.4 million, per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.

Hollins, 31, brings experience to New England’s youthful receiver room. While not Chris Godwin or Tee Higgins — two of New England’s offseason targets — Hollins should command some targets from quarterback Drake Maye.

Hollins spent the 2024 season with the Buffalo Bills, making 31 receptions for 378 yards and five touchdowns. His best season — 57 catches, 690 yards — came in 2022 with the Las Vegas Raiders. Then, Josh McDaniels was his head coach. Now, McDaniels is his offensive coordinator in New England.

His best game that season came against the Tennessee Titans (eight receptions, 158 yards, one touchdown). Former Titans now Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel saw Hollins’ impact up close and will now coach him in 2025.

The Patriots have been busy Monday. In addition to Hollins, New England has signed defensive tackle Milton Williams, linebacker Robert Spillane, cornerback Carlton Davis, offensive tackle Morgan Moses and quarterback Josh Dobbs. Harold Landry signed Sunday, reuniting with Vrabel. Williams is the prize. A key member of the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl LIX-winning team, Williams will earn $26 million annually from the Patriots. Williams tallied a career-high five sacks this past season.

The Patriots still have some money to play with as they aim to rebuild their roster. Monday is just the beginning; more moves will come as the week progresses.
