Madison Square Garden shared an update on where Tracy Morgan stands with the venue after he left Monday’s New York Knicks game due to a medical emergency. A representative for the arena told TMZ Sports they will welcome Morgan back when he feels better.

“We hope Tracy feels better soon,” they said, “and look forward to seeing him back courtside.” Morgan was seen vomiting while sitting courtside when the Knicks were taking on the Miami Heat.

Some fans wondered if Tracy Morgan ate some bad food or was overserved. However, TMZ Sports indicated that the incident may have been more serious based on what Madison Square Garden said about the actor/comedian.

After Morgan threw up while courtside, he was pushed out of the arena in a wheelchair while holding a towel to his face. Some fans said they could see blood coming out of Morgan’s nose, and the game was delayed due to the incident.

Knicks player Josh Hart sends a message to Tracy Morgan

Morgan has dealt with a few health issues over the last 15 years. In 2010, the 56-year-old underwent a kidney transplant. He also suffered serious injuries after being in a car crash in 2014.

Tracy Morgan is one of the celebrities who regularly attends Knicks games at Madison Square Garden. After Monday’s game, Knicks player Josh Hart reacted to Morgan getting sick.

“First and foremost, obviously we hope everything is good with Tracy Morgan,” Hart said after the Knicks’ win over the Miami Heat, per the Associated Press. “Avid, lifetime Knick fan so prayers go out to him and his health and safety.”

In 2023, Morgan spoke to the New York Post about attending Knicks games. “If they’re not there, they’re there in spirit,” Morgan said. “Trust me, they’re somewhere watching the game, man. When I’m not at the game, I got Knick Night in my house.”

The Saturday Night Live alum went on to say he always sits courtside when attending a Knicks game. “I just switch it up. Sometimes I bring my daughter, sometimes I bring my cousin, sometimes I bring my friends,” he said. “When you’re sitting in a celebrity row, you’re looking at the game from a different perspective. You hear communication, you see the sweat, you’re in the game.”
