Pittsburgh Steelers trade for Denver Broncos linebacker Malik Reed
The Denver Broncos are trading Malik Reed, a linebacker, to the Pittsburgh Steelers. In exchange, the Broncos will be receiving late-round NFL Draft pick compensation. The trade was first reported by Tom Pelissero.
Malik Reed has spent his entire career with the Broncos. He joined the team after going undrafted in 2019. In 2020, he proved to be an important pass rusher for Denver with multiple games where he had more than one sack.
During his career, Reed has recorded 15 career sacks. He also has three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries during his career. 13 games is the most he has appeared in as a starter during the season.
