MarShawn Lloyd, Romeo Doubs updates featured on Packers Wednesday injury report
The Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles get to kick off the 2024 NFL season in a special way, playing in São Paulo. It’s the first of a handful of games played internationally this year but the league’s first time heading to South America. Playing in primetime Friday night only adds to the occasion.
While the event might be a little different for fans, the two teams are business as usual. At the end of the day, Green Bay and Philadelphia are looking to begin the season 1-0. However, there were some injury problems to address first, with the Packers releasing their Wednesday injury report.
- Edgerrin Cooper, LB (hip) – Limited participation
- Romeo Doubs, WR (hand) – Limited participation
- Tucker Kraft, TE (back) – Limited participation
- MarShawn Lloyd, RB (hamstring) – Limited participation
- Carrington Valentine, CB (hamstring) – Limited participation
- Emanuel Wilson, RB (hip) – Limited participation
Now, there is an asterisk when talking about Wednesday’s injury report. Green Bay did not practice because they were on a plane traveling to Brazil for the game. All designations are a projection had the Packers taken the field at some point Wednesday.

All six players would have been limited in practice, something that’s an upgrade for Lloyd. He did not participate in Tuesday’s practice due to the hamstring problem. Progress must have been made because the rookie running back would have been out there.

Moving over to Doubs, a hand issue is bothering the wide receiver. Head coach Matt LaFleur has been adamant about Green Bay being deep at the wide receiver position. But having Doubs out there would be a huge boost for the Packers and quarterback Jordan Love.
On the flip side, the Eagles also released their Wednesday injury report. A few big names are still present for Philadelphia but appear to be on track to play in Brazil after being listed as full participants.
- AJ Brown, WR (NIR, resting player) – Full participation
- Landon Dickerson, C (NIR, resting player) – Full participation
- Isaiah Rodgers, CB (hand) – Limited participation
- Devin White, LB (ankle) – Did not participate
Philadelphia also announced White is not traveling with the team, meaning he is unavailable for Friday night’s game. A loss for the Eagles linebacker group before facing a stellar Green Bay Packers offense.
