Mel Kiper huge changes Big Board Top 25 player rankings 2025 NFL Draft
On3

ESPN’s Mel Kiper made some huge changes to his Big Board Top 25 players ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft later this month. Just wait til you see this top 10!

Want a quarterback in this draft? There’s a few within Kiper’s top 25 so you could hit it big in that department. But there are certain position, or multiposition, players that are at the top of this list.

The draft is less than a month away so we’re finally ready to see where these guys go. For now, let’s look at Kiper’s latest Big Board with a breakdown of the top 10.

1. Travis Hunter, CB/WR – Colorado

Kiper has Hunter at the top of his Big Board with a few weeks remaining until the NFL Draft. The Heisman winner played both ways in college and plans to do so in the pros.

It’s a matter of where he’ll go in the draft and what his pro team will make him focus on. He can be an elite defender and elite wide receiver. But he might have to choose a primary focus in the NFL.

2. Abdul Carter, OLB – Penn State

Carter is a can’t-miss pass rushing prospect for NFL scouts. In any other year, he might be the No. 1 overall pick. He’s No. 2 on this Big Board.

But this all depends on teams needs for a QB or if Hunter actually jumps him. Otherwise, Carter is an instant impact type of player.

3. Mason Graham, DT – Michigan

Graham is an elite interior defender and has been heavily linked to the Jacksonville Jaguars in NFL Mock Drafts. As far as this Big Board is concerned, he’s No. 3 behind two other guys on the defensive side.

Not only can Graham stuff the run, he can be a solid pass rusher. Once that develops into an elite trait, Graham might be borderline unstoppable.

4. Ashton Jeanty, RB – Boise State

Jeanty is easily the top running back on the Big Board following his historic season. The Boise State star was the Heisman runner up and is just too good to pass on.

Now, he won’t go No. 1 overall, but he’ll go very high with the reemergence of the RB in the NFL. It’s hard to say no to a guy who averaged seven yards per carry.

5. Shedeur Sanders, QB – Colorado

Sanders is the top quarterback on Kiper’s Big Board, just ahead of Miami’s Cam Ward (more on him later). It seems scouts prefer Ward though, especially when it comes to the top selection.

However, Sanders is deadly accurate and a great pocket passer. He also has enough mobility to extend plays and can really hurt defenses with even an average offensive line.

6. Cam Ward, QB – Miami

Ward is next up on the Big Board and Kiper loves the QB’s swagger and confidence. He’s more likely to go No. 1 overall to the Titans than Sanders though.

With an unorthodox arm delivery, you can question his throwing if you want. But, he’s accurate and Ward can sling it a country mile. Not to mention he’s mobile too.

7. Tyler Warren, TE – Penn State

Warren goes into the 2025 NFL Draft as Kiper’s top tight end on the Big Board. He had over 100 catches and 1,000 yards this past season and he can even run the football!

A versatile offensive weapon like this? Don’t let him go to a Super Bowl contender right away or it might be unfair!

8. Armand Membou, OT/G – Missouri

Membou might’ve had the biggest rise on Kiper’s Big Board since the NFL Scouting Combine. He had 30 starts at right tackle in college but could slide to guard.

After his combine workout, scouts were seemingly blown away. An athletic freak who can play multiple positions up front? Yup, teams will sign up for that.

9. Will Campbell, OT/G – LSU

Campbell was regularly thought of as the top offensive lineman in the class and on the Big Board. Not now.

Still, he’s within the top 10 for Kiper and also has the ability to play multiple positions up front. There’s been a lot of talk about his 32.5 inch arms, smaller for the tackle position. Campbell didn’t seem to care at all though.

10. Omarion Hampton, RB – North Carolina

Another running back in the top 10 of the Big Board? Yes! It’s true. A lot of people paid attention to Jeanty this year, but Hampton was wildly productive.

He ran for nearly 1,700 yards this year and had 17 total touchdowns. It just remains to be seen which team takes a swing on him.
