Miami QB Cam Ward's Heisman Trophy ceremony outfit revealed
Miami quarterback Cam Ward is rolling up in style to the Heisman Trophy ceremony in New York on Saturday evening. With Ward set to represents the Hurricanes as one of four finalists for college football’s most coveted award, he posed for a few pictures showing off his outfit for the event.
The Miami QB was decked out in all black wearing slack and a sleek shirt. He also donned a watch on his wrist and dress shoes to complete the fit, which you can view below.
Ward has put together the best season of any quarterback in Miami’s storied history, passing for 4,123 yards and 36 touchdowns, both school records. Those numbers also led the country and he added another 196 yards rushing and four touchdowns on the ground.
The Hurricanes were in contention for the ACC Championship and College Football Playoff most of the year. However, a loss to Syracuse in the final week of the regular season knocked them out of both.

Miami still finished with 10 wins for the first time since 2017 and Ward’s impact in his lone season with the Hurricanes cannot be understated. He’ll look to make it even more special tonight as he hopes to become the first player in school history to win the Heisman.
The 2024 Heisman Trophy ceremony is set to begin at 8 p.m. ET and will be televised on ESPN.
Cam Ward sees College Football Playoff ‘sweet spot’ between 16, 24 teams
Speaking ahead of Saturday’s Heisman Trophy ceremony, Miami quarterback Cam Ward spoke about how many teams he thinks should be in the College Football Playoff. He thinks the “sweet spot” is between 16 and 24 teams.
Ward played in a 24-team playoff in the early part of his career. He started at Incarnate Word before transferring to Washington State, and the Cardinals made it to the second round before falling to Sam Houston State.
