WATCH: Micah Parson scores first career NFL touchdown on wild fumble recovery
Micah Parsons has scored his first career touchdown in the most bizarre way possible.
Justin Fields pass was complete to David Montgomery up the middle, but fumbled the ball as he was tackled by Leighton Vander Esch. Parsons fell on it, and was never touched and followed his blocks into the end zone for the improbable score.

After review, Fields, who was right there to make the stop on Parsons if needed, completely jumped over the Cowboys star linebacker. That gave Parsons the chance to get up, and the rest will be on his highlight reel forever.
Jerry Jones reveals thought process behind decision to sit Ezekiel Elliott
The Dallas Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones, has confirmed that star running back Ezekiel Elliott isn’t going to play against the Chicago Bears. Reportedly, he needs to take time to recover from a knee issue. Jones explained the thought process behind the decision.
“It had everything to do with how we’re doing this, this weekend with this bye coming up. I’m not so sure we would’ve done it this way had we not had the bye,” Jerry Jones said.

So, the schedule worked out for the Cowboys to give Ezekiel Elliott a week off and then use the bye week for additional rest.
“This just gives too good of an opportunity if we don’t use Zeke, and we’ll see how he is responding as the week goes along, but if we don’t use him, it’s just too great of a time to get him in top shape.”
Dallas plays Chicago on Sunday. The next week is the bye. That will be followed up with a trip to Green Bay. The Cowboys are hoping to have Ezekiel Elliott back from injury by then. However, it’s hard to predict how his body is going to respond to rest.
