Micah Parsons, CeeDee Lamb injury updates: Mike McCarthy reveals latest on Cowboys stars' recovery
Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy shared injury updates on pass rusher Micah Parsons and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb ahead of the team’s Week 10 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Per Todd Archer of ESPN, McCarthy said that Parsons, who has a high ankle sprain, will be limited in practice on Wednesday. He then said that Lamb, who has a shoulder injury, “will not do much on the field today” but participated in a walkthrough.
Parsons has not played since the Cowboys defeated the New York Giants in Week 4. On Monday, McCarthy told reporters that Parsons would likely return to practice this week.
“He’s feeling better, he’s going to get some practice time Wednesday and it’ll be a big day to point us in that direction,” McCarthy said, per the Cowboys’ official website. “It looks like he’s going to be able to potentially get on the practice field.”
Lamb suffered an AC joint injury during Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons. Earlier this week, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he’s hopeful Lamb can continue to play since he played through the injury on Sunday. In the 27-21 loss against the Falcons, Lamb caught eight passes for 47 yards.

Dak Prescott joins Micah Parson and CeeDee Lamb when it comes to injuries
Parsons and Lamb aren’t the only big injuries for the Cowboys. In the Falcons game, Dak Prescott suffered a hamstring injury late in the third quarter. He didn’t return to the game and will likely miss multiple weeks. Jones recently said Prescott could likely be placed on injured reserve, meaning he will miss four weeks of action.
“I felt it when I was getting up from the run. I can’t even say that I felt it running,” Prescott said about his injury, per ESPN. “The tackle, maybe something on the tackle. Yeah, I don’t know, but when I was standing up, I felt something actually. Didn’t think it was much. You get tired. It’s a physical game. A lot of times you feel different things and they kind of go away.”
