Micah Parsons credited with sack after review from NFL
Micah Parsons is within one sack from being the NFL’s league leader after they credited him with an extra sack on Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff. The hit was originally credited to defensive lineman Dorance Armstrong.
The former Penn State standout now finished Sunday’s game with a season-high three sacks to go along with seven total tackles and a forced fumble.

Parsons only trails New England Patriots linebacker Matthew Judon with 8.5 sacks. Judon, who notched 2.5 sacks in Monday’s loss to the Chicago Bears, has secured at least one sack in six of the Patriots’ first seven games.
Almost more impressively, Parsons has four games under his belt this season where he’s notched at least two sacks. He’ll need another three-sack performance at some point soon if he wants to finish as the NFL’s sack leader for the first time in his young career.
Cowboys Ezekiel Elliott ‘likely sidelined’ with torn MCL, thigh bruise
When Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott took a shot to his knee, he was able to walk off the field and even return to the game. At the time, nothing seemed wrong as Elliott got into the end zone two more times and was effective in the red zone. That’s now changed since the win against Detroit and a couple days into Week 8 practice.

According to a report from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Elliott will be ‘likely sidelined’ with a torn MCL and a bruised thigh. It’s the second consecutive season the running back has dealt with a knee injury, playing through a PCL problem last year.
Elliott is the latest Dallas offensive star to go down with an injury. Quarterback Dak Prescott just returned from thumb surgery, while tight end Dalton Schultz has a knee injury too. Left tackle Tyron Smith has already been out for some time, most likely not returning until the stretch run of the regular season.
When speaking to the media earlier on Wednesday, Elliott said he is not sure if he will suit up on Sunday against the Chicago Bears. While the running back has not been in practice, he could still play even if he remains out the rest of the week.
“I don’t know right now,” Elliott said on his availability on Sunday. “We got a lot of time until Sunday.”
