Micah Parsons, DaRon Bland injury updates: Dallas Cowboys release Wednesday practice report
The Dallas Cowboys released their first practice report for the Week 9 game against the Atlanta Falcons, and DE Micah Parsons and CB DaRon Bland did not practice on Wednesday due to injuries. Parsons is dealing with an ankle injury and has missed the last three games. Bland has not played all season due to a foot injury but was recently activated off injured reserve.
Another key player who missed practice was CB Trevon Diggs who has a calf injury. Other Cowboys players on the practice report are K Brandon Aubrey (NIR – Jury Duty, did not participate), CB Caelen Carson (shoulder, full participant), DT Linval Joseph (back, DNP), LB Eric Kendricks (shoulder, limited participation), OL Zack Martin (shoulder, DNP), DT Jordan Phillips (wrist, full) and LB Nick Vigil (foot, DNP).
Bland likely won’t play on Sunday since he suffered a setback earlier this month. As for Parsons, the Cowboys said it’s too early to determine if he’ll return to action against Atlanta.
The Cowboys are going to need all the help they can get as they are facing a Falcons team that is on top of the NFC South with a 5-3 record. The Cowboys have lost their last two games but are coming off a bye, so they have had plenty of time to prepare for the Falcons.

Dallas Cowboys prepare for Atlanta Falcons while dealing with key injuries
“They’re a really good offense, and Kirk Cousins has been in the league forever,” Diggs said on Wednesday, per the Cowboys’ official website. “They’ve got a lot of great weapons at wide receiver, and their running back is phenomenal. They throw the ball a lot, but they can run the ball, too. We’ve just got to do a good job of playing the calls that are called and get the job done.”
“This is positionless football right now [in Atlanta] because everybody can do everything,” CB Jourdan Lewis said. “They have some athletes out there that can move around and, when they get in space, they’re dangerous. So I feel like this is one of the best offenses in the league right now and they’re coming together and putting some games together.”
