Micah Parsons pushes back on Cowboys narrative in the media

Dallas linebacker Micah Parsons is taking exception to how his team gets treated by the media. The Cowboys star believes there’s unfair criticism of the team, specifically when it comes to quarterback Dak Prescott.
Recently on his podcast, The Edge with Micah Parsons, the linebacker called out media for their inconsistent treatment of the Cowboys. He was specifically baffled with how the 49ers (lost to the Browns) and Eagles (lost to the Jets) received passes. Yet when Dallas loses a game, he feels Prescott gets piled on.
“I just don’t condone the bashing of Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys, and (not) have the same energy for the Eagles,” Parsons said, via NFL Media. “The Eagles were healthy. They had Jalen Hurts, they had their receiving corps, they had their explosive weapons. They didn’t have Lane Johnson. I will admit they didn’t have Lane Johnson. But does that make that much of a difference? Because I see my quarterback, you know, maybe not have the red-zone success, but move the ball way better than the Eagles did Sunday night.
“We want the same energy for everybody. Because there’s a whole bunch of bashing when it’s Dak Prescott, but not the same when it’s the Eagles.”
Parsons then said that he would rather the media just say that they’re against the Cowboys (which, good luck with that, Micah).
“If y’all just going to hate Cowboys nation, just say y’all hate Cowboys nation,” Parsons said. “But don’t sit here and throw shade on us. Keep the same energy for everybody. That’s all it is.”

Micah Parsons comments on George Kittle’s shirt
During the Cowboys-Niners game, San Francisco tight end George Kittle wore an interesting shirt under his jersey. It had an NSFW message on it that … did not sit well with the Cowboys.
Obviously, Kittle didn’t regret his decision because of a 42-10 victory, but Parsons did have some thoughts about it.
“George Kittle had three touchdowns on us and he posted this thing to IG,” the linebacker said. “He said, ‘F*** Dallas.’ I just feel like he’s making it way more personal than it had to be. Kittle’s my guy, but I’m gonna say this: Laugh now, cry later.
“We got something for that. Just trust. If we see them again, just trust. We gonna put it just like that. I ain’t gonna put too much on it. If you’re gonna make it personal, we can make it personal. That’s cool.”
So, if there’s a rematch between the two teams, things might get interesting.
