Micah Parsons sends powerful message after Cowboys' Thanksgiving Day win: 'Why not us?'
Cowboys star linebacker Micah Parsons believes Dallas is getting hot at just the right time. The Cowboys held off the Giants for a 27-20 win Thursday night for their second consecutive victory.
The Cowboys had dropped five straight games, before winning their past two to improve to 5-7 on the year.
Micah Parsons spoke with Fox after the Thanksgiving Day win and shared that he still fully believes Dallas can go on a run and get into the playoffs.
“To be honest, it’s really been why not us? Everybody counted us out. And it was just like, enough’s enough,” Micah Parsons said. “We know what we’ve got. We know what we can do here. And I believe in every one of these guys. I believe we’re going to turn it around and make a run.”
According to Parsons, injuries played a large role in the Cowboys going on a losing streak earlier in the season. As they continue to get healthier, he believes Dallas is a dangerous team. Parsons is now back after being banged up earlier this season, and more help is on the way.

“Man, for me man, as soon as I was able to get at least 90 percent, it was about just fighting through it, getting back on the field, because I know I can help,” Micah Parsons said. “It’s been a lot of trash talk out there, talking about what difference can we make. Hey man, we’ve still got some guys coming back in the chamber. Trevon’s not back… so I’m telling y’all right now, we coming.”
The Cowboys earned a 27-20 win over the Giants, despite CeeDee Lamb only contributing two catches for 39 yards.
Up next, Dallas will host the Bengals, looking for a third straight victory. If they do indeed get it, watch out. There is still enough time left in the season that Micah Parsons very well could be right.
